![]() ![]() The marketing has been poor so far, you’re right. Still, I trust GC’s review and can’t wait to play Bayonetta 3 now, after all it was your reviews of the first two games (which are now among my favourite games ever) that got me into the series in the first place! Somehow the graphics and gameplay seemed off to me compared to 1 and 2. Not only has Platinum’s output lately been poor compared to their former high standards but I also didn’t think the trailers for Bayonetta 3 looked very good. I am very happy to read that Bayonetta 3 is another excellent entry for the series. It’s really not a particularly difficult game either, and we were playing it on Normal. ![]() Having read your review of Bayonetta 3 I think I may finally jump in and see what all the fuss is about. I got the impression that I would find them annoyingly difficult and give up. I’ve always been on the fence about Bayonetta games, despite owning a Wii U and Bayonetta 2 getting decent reviews when big Wii U releases were few and far between. It doesn’t really matter because I bought the game for the multiplayer, but it all seems a big waste of someone’s money. It’s strange to play something that looks so good, and has had so much work put into it, and yet the whole thing feels limp and unexciting. I really liked the first Modern Warfare reboot too, but this has a much worse story and virtually nothing to do with the original Modern Warfare 2.
